Everett is 6 Weeks Old Already!!

Here are some pictures of Everett around his 6 week birthday. He is getting big! I weighed him at home last week and he is close to 12 pounds. We will go to the doctor on Thursday so I will report back his official weight on his 7 week birthday.

Notice that this one was taken after eating...hence the round belly!

He Smiles!

Everett will smile at us now. This is a picture of one of his smiles. I hope to get a better one soon!

He's 4 Weeks Old Already!

On Thursday, Everett was officially 4 weeks old. (And now he is one month old!) We went to the doctor on Tuesday (3 weeks and 5 days old) and he weighed a whopping 9 lbs 14 oz! He gained two ounces per day for the past two weeks. He has also changed quite a bit, as you will see in the photos. He is now sporting the "Costanza" and has gained a couple more chins. (For those of you who do not know what I mean by the "Costanza", I am referring to the George Costanza hairdo from "Seinfeld". You know - no hair on top but hair on the sides! I fret that before it is all said and done, he will probably lose more hair.

Happy Independence Day!

Our very festive little boy, Everett, would like to:

• Show off his new July 4th outfit (Thanks Mommy!);
• Express his gratitude to the brave men of the Continental Congress who voted on July 2, 1776 to finally break the shackles of the oppressive British red-coats; and
• Wish everyone a very safe and happy Independence Day celebration!
